Rob Buckland-Nicks
The art of Rob’s detailed bird paintings is their precise placement and scale. It is this that precipitates the bird’s release from the surface of the ocean stones that he collects. When the birds leave, only the landscape is left.

A smooth stone is age and time, controlled and shaped by the earth’s rhythms. A bird flies; the embodiment of free spirit, anywhere, everywhere, but still subject to the same natural rhythms. Both can be held.
Open daily 9am – 6pm, May 1st to October 31st.
Studio is upstairs at the Flight of Fancy.
